Work Experience
Do you want to get hands on work experience? Are you interested in the not-for-profit sector or pursuing a career in marketing or fundraising?
We offer work experience placements for a range of occupations at Jewish Care for people aged 16-24. The duration of the placements is 2-6 weeks, with a minimum of 7 hours per week.
A structured shadowing programme will be developed to meet your needs and give you the best possible, full rounded experience.
If you’re not sure what field of work you want to go into, these placements act as great ‘taster’ experiences, enabling you to alongside staff in a range of departments.
Expenses
Our work experience placements are unpaid. As a charity our resources are limited so we don’t have full expenses but are able to discuss your needs at interview, for example travel considerations.
