The Mitkadem Centre provides mental health support for people who live in and around the Redbridge area in a modern and friendly environment.
The centre offers support for people with mental health needs aged 18+. There is a programme of groups and activities that help people develop life skills and confidence to enable a greater level of independence.
Services and activities on offer include:
- Jewish cultural group
- independent living and life skills support
- social and discussion groups
- creative expression and media studies
- women's and men's groups
- employment support for voluntary and paid work (ATID)
- mental health education and training
- mental health social work support and advice
The Mitkadem staff work closely with other local organisations to ensure consistency in support planning. Everyone has a support worker who they meet with regularly to discuss their needs and ongoing progress.
