Centres for Wellbeing

Contact

For more information please contact our helpline Jewish Care Direct:

Our centres for wellbeing offer innovative support for people with mental health needs. We focus on preventive care and aim to rebuild confidence, self-esteem and independence.

We offer therapies and activities to help people cope with short or long-term mental health needs, whether they are going through a period of depression or anxiety or have long-term mental health needs.

These centres act as a one-stop shop where clients can access many services, including:

  • social workers who offer confidential advice and support
  • therapeutic activities and classes (eg. art, exercise)
  • employment advice, support and IT skills training (link to ATID)
  • community mental health education
  • support for people in their own homes
  • talking therapies and life skills training
  • social events
  • discussion and cultural groups

Anyone entitled to local authority funding can apply for help with the costs of culturally sensitive activities offered by Jewish Care.

Referrals can be made by yourself, carers, GP's, psychiatrists, social workers etc. If you or someone you care about needs help, please contact Jewish Care Direct on: 020 8922 2222.
