members exhibit art at the HSCIt offers a friendly, safe place where elderly survivors can meet and socialise, and where they can benefit from a full therapeutic programme.
The centre offers a wide range of social activities for members, six days a week, Sunday-Friday. Testimonies are also recorded and survivors visit schools, colleges and universities to talk about their experiences.
It is the only centre designed specifically for Holocaust survivors in the UK.
Activities include:
A group of members is elected onto an advisory committee, which works with the centre director to develop the service.
A freshly cooked and kosher lunch is served every day.
