Caring for a relative or friend can be both physically and mentally demanding and can sometimes lead to isolation and loneliness. Our Family Carers' Service provides much-needed support and information for anyone who is caring for a relative or friend.
We have various services across our resources, open to all carers.
They include telephone, written and face-to-face support; individual and group support work and support for people caring for relatives in particular circumstances such as addiction, dementia, terminal illness and with mental health issues.
