To deliver person-centred care that will meet individual resident’s personal, physical, social and psychological needs in accordance with National Care Standards, GSCC Code of Conduct and organisational values to ensure the wellbeing of residents and staff.

To contribute to the preparation of care plans, their updating and review by the care team, to be relevant to each individual resident’s needs. This should be done in consultation with staff, residents, advocates and their families to ensure relevant and appropriate care is given at all times.

To ensure effective, open and positive communication within the home including residents, staff, relatives, volunteers, other professionals and all visitors to the home, using the Key Working system, as appropriate. All of which must be recorded and documented as appropriate to ensure best practice is implemented and adhered to at all times.

To recognise, respect and support the social, emotional and identity needs and spiritual well-being of individuals and to deliver suitable activities, in response to this to ensure resident’s needs are met.

To manage and support staff as and when required to ensure the needs of the home are met.
- To remain alert and attentive to the needs of the residents throughout the shift to ensure their requirements are met at all times.

Hyman Fine House
The only Jewish care home in the area, Hyman Fine House is located in a quiet residential street just off the seafront. It offers a choice of several communal living areas, two dining rooms and a bright, sunny conservatory.
The home prides itself on encouraging and supporting residents to remain independent by doing small, day-to-day tasks such as making their own tea or laying the table.
