Internships
Our internships are for people aged 16+ who are interested in getting experience in a chosen sector. They are focussed vocational programmes, acting as a first step on a career ladder in your chosen industry. However, please bear in mind that an internship is not a guarantee of employment.
What is involved?

Our internships are between 6 weeks and 10 months in duration, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

We expect the applicant to set themselves goals and objectives with a mentor in order to make the most of their experience.

You will be provided with a line manager who will give regular supervision and oversee your personal development.

As an intern you are considered to be a member of staff, so will benefit from the full experience of working at Jewish Care, including our extensive training opportunities.
Exceptions can be made for any college or university requirements. Course credits and assignments can be discussed at interview.
Both parties have the right to terminate the internship if it is not going well.
