FAQs

Answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about moving into residential care.

Choosing the right care home

From your initial enquiry to accepting a place in a care home, we’ll guide you every step of the way. You will be secure in the knowledge that the new resident is receiving exactly the right care in the best home for them.

Paying for your care

Depending on your circumstances, you may pay for your residential care privately or receive help from your local authority. We can help you through the process.

Celebrating Jewish traditions

Moving into a Jewish Care home means that you will be welcomed into a Jewish community that shares many of your values, heritage and customs.

Social activities
We think it’s important for our residents to have as much fun as possible. All our homes have staff who are dedicated to organising a rich and varied programme of activities.

Quality of care

We provide excellent care that is centred on the personality and preferences of the individual. Staff are on duty around the clock, and all our homes have visiting specialists such as a GP, chiropodist, optician and dentist.

Home comforts

Residents can make their private room a warm and personal place with their own ornaments and pictures. Family and friends are always welcome, and of course the menu features a wide range of delicious Jewish food.
