Business Mentoring
Jewish Care's business mentoring programme connects young, rising stars of the professional world with mentors who have been successful in their careers and have valuable advice to give. Our strong professional network enables us to bring together mentors from a range of industries, including property, finance and accountancy, who are at the top of their game and willing to share their tips.
How does the event work?
Just purchase a ticket to the event (usually held between 7pm and 9:30pm) and enjoy canapés, drinks and speeches from the mentors.
Then the important part of the evening. Guests will get the chance to bid for one-hour mentoring sessions with the mentor of thier choice in a silent auction.

Our June event, held at BDO, featured Derek Zissman, Vice Chairman of KPMG, and Elaine Stern, Director of the Ten Group.
Speaking to the audience, Stern advised "You have to be hungry for success. Make sure that you have an in-depth understanding of your chosen field. Be engaged and in touch with your clients."

September 2010
On 2nd September 2010, our first business mentoring event was held at BDO's offices in the West End. Speakers included Stephen Zimmerman, founding Partner of NewSmith Capital Partner and Danny Fenton, CEO and Executive Chairman of Zig Zag Productions. The event raised over £10,000 for Jewish Care.
