Young Jewish Care's 'More Dinner, Drinks and Deals'

Young Jewish Care’s  second Dinner Drinks and Deals property event was held at the Bevis Marks restaurant in the Square Mile, on 26th January. The event was held in support of the charity’s Martin B. Cohen Centre for Wellbeing in Edgware.

More than 60 young professionals attended the evening and were given the chance to meet six highly successful mentors:- Matthew Black, senior director CB Richard Ellis; Valerie Brecher, senior partner, Brecher; Ezra Nahome, CEO Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH); Mark Morris, director Investream; David Pearl, chairman and chief executive  Pearl & Coutts Ltd;  David Sinclair, partner Norton Rose LLP.

Guest were welcomed by committee member  Stephen Gevertz who told them: “Throughout the night each table will meet three of our property experts as they rotate, giving you all the opportunity to chat to them, hear their views and ask them questions.”  He went on to introduce Daniel Carmel-Brown, Jewish Care’s director of fundraising and marketing who thanked guests for their continued support for the vital work that Jewish Care undertakes for the most vulnerable members of the community.

Closing the evening Stephen gave a final vote of thanks saying:  “It was truly inspirational to have the chance to meet and talk to this outstanding group of mentors.  I know that each and everyone of us was excited by all that we have heard here tonight."
